Outlook BCM e-mail will not link

My system shows that all contacts are enabled for e-mail auto linking, but
for several contacts it just doesn't seem to be happening. Even if I open the
emails and select each one to link to the contact, they still are not showing
in the business contact's history. Any ideas?
