Could anyone explain what might cause Outlook to come up
with an error message like this "Microsoft Outlook has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience." and then when you press 'ok' it
closes ? This happens after a minute or so of opening up
and almost behaves as if there is a worm like the Blaster
Worm but I've checked my system and it isn't there. The
error report has this as being the error that is being
sent to MS.
C:\DOCUME~1\GBM\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER8E.tmp.dir00
\appcompat.txt
It comes up with this 'error signature'
AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 9.0.0.2416 ModName:
fldpub.dll
ModVer: 9.0.2518.0 Offset: 0002a142
Any help would be appreciated.I'm running Win XP.
