Outlook crashes/ freezes (HELP!)

I just set up my new computer running WinXPMediaCenter with an Athlon 64
3500+ processor running 2048 MB of RAM. I moved over my data before moving
over my programs (I thought I could move both at the same time). My 2003
Outlook email program repeatedly crashes after using it for a few minutes or
activities (It appears to be related to the send/ receive action). I
uninstalled the following programs that I was using that I thought may be
causing a conflict (Google Toolbar, Plaxo, Quirb). The problem persists
anyway. What else should I do?

this is a common (and growing problem) .. the profile approach does not
solve it (seen it tried by several, self included)

started happening prior to Office XP SP2 (under windows XP) and has
progressively gotten worse

so far, none of the suggested fix's (file deletes, renames, profiles, etc)
in these many threads does anything to help matters for most .. i've tried
them all repeatedly whith no success. does ANYONE have any clue on what is
causing the issue?

this growing problem gotten so bad that several admins i know wheo are being
run ragged by thsi issue (including two major businesses) are considering
droping Office XP (all versions) for alternatrives. i hope microsoft is
listening, they have a serious problem they need to address.
