Outlook Databinding

What does it mean when Outlook 2002 says Databinding...
on the bottom left in the status bar.

When I saw it, it was because Outlook had invalid references to folders on
the "Outlook Today" page. Those references are kept in the Registry. When
I fixed the Registry entries, the reference to "databinding" went away.

\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Today\Folders
