Outlook didn't send mails with attachs bigger than 300kb

Sorry for the cross-post, but I'm not sure about what is the correct
newsgroup.
My Outlook 2000 ever worked fine, but last week it starts to show a problem:
the e-mails with attachments aren't sent, if the size is 300kb or bigger.

I sent many e-mails with different attachments, by differente accounts
(diferent domains too) and to different accounts and domains. All these
e-mails, according to Outlook, as sent, and stay in the "Sent Items" folder.
But none of then arrived to the destination, and I didn't receive an e-mail
reporting a send error by the provider.

I tried to send these e-mails using the webmail from the same accounts I've
tried before in Outlook, and the e-mails was sent and received correctly! I
haven't firewalls or any other program to monitor my e-mails. The last thing
I did last week was install the Microsoft Messenger. Can this be my problem?
