Outlook - Disappearing URL

Platform: XP pro, IE6.
When I try to access a certain website (White Pages (au))
well connection is apparently made, then hey presto, all
is gone. Not only does the URL disappear but my browser
instantly closes down and all I have left is whatever is
on the desktop.
This happen over a number of different links to this
site, not just Google etc.
Any ideas please?
