Is there a limit to the numbers of contacts in a distribution list? All of a
sudden I can't add any more and "Help" does not mention any limits.

Yes, but it's not a limit on the number of entries, but on how much space
the entries take. You can have more entries if the names and mail addresses
are short and fewer if the names and addresses are longer. See
