Thank you for trying to indoctrinate me into the newsgroup
culture. I have never used this method of community/tech
communication before and when I made the statement about
why won't anyone help, I really meant it(I thought I
didn't do something correctly or hit the wrong
key/button).I appologize to anyone I may have insulted due
to my anxiety over on-going problems with Outlook. As far
as it not being the end-of the world...really uncalled
for! This is how I make my living. FYI, I am not the
same "Char" from Sept.
1.) Operating System: old, Windows '95
2.) Outlook version: Outlook '97
3.) Recently installed a Xerox WorkCentre XK Series (I can
print OK but cannot scan (I get cable / port error
messages. I have a switch box connected, switching back-in-
forth between Xerox & HP LaserJet 4L (which is now acting
up (always prints a first page with upper/lower case
letters & symbols on the upper left corner).
4.) A new system is on the horizon but for right now I'll
have to struggle with this system.
5.) I use the Xerox for color prints/copies but
disconnecting may be the answer.
6.) I am not techincally savvy enough to reinstall the OS.
