Outlook / Exchange Poll Rate

Is there anyway to make outlook check exchange faster that it does.

Realistally it's taking up to 60 seconds sometimes. If you press send
receive the message shows up without the wait.

We have outlook 2003 on all clients and exchange 2003 as the server.

I know exchange sends out UDP packets to notify outlook of the
message, I am curious where the delay lies.

Have you taken a look at the *.adm file for Outlook? It looks like you can
control poll rate. (it looks like 60 secs. is the default.)
