Outlook Express Inbox Disappeared

On September 4th or 5th, the inbox for a colleague's
outlook express disppeared. None of us can figure out
what happened. The only clue seems to be an email
received from Mindspring welcoming him as a new user of
Outlook Express 6. He says that he has not done anything
to the computer lately--including the upgrading of
Outlook Express

Any suggestins?

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.

I had a similar problem with Outlook Express 6 at about
the same time. Only mine seems to be even worse. All of
my messages, inbox, sent, archives etc have disappeared.
Any new incoming messages are deleted before I can read
them and I cannot create any new messages. I don't know
whether Outlook has become corrupted or whether I've been
hit by a virus, although my McAfee virus scan is up to
date and not reporting anything.

Sorry I'm unable to help as I've not yet solved the
problem - but you are not alone...
