I have a message in my outbox which seems to be stuck
there. It has not been sent and I cannot delete it
because the MAPI Spooler has already started
transmitting. I prepared this message about nine months
ago and it is still in the outbox. How can I delete it.

I think I had the same problem. Open Outlook and quickly go to the tools /options menu. Uncheck the box that says "receive and send mail at startup of OUtlook." Then close and open again. This should stop the mail from sending immediately and allow you to delete it. Hope this helps.
