Outlook Feature Keeps Installing

A

Alan Agle

Almost every time Outlook 2003 starts, it pops
up 'installing new feature' dialog; I keep Office CD in
CD drive so it can complete. I can't tell what 'feature'
is being installed, making me very uncomfortable, but
there don't seem to be any side effects, and I'm behind a
firewall; I don't think it's spyware. (And have scanned.)

I have tried a full office 2003 setup->reinstall, but
this keeps happening. So, I think something's amiss
within office.

Any ideas?

What is your logon status? Administrator? Power User? What happens if you
use "runas" adminstrator and install the feature that keeps asking to
install?
