Outlook folder in diff. language

R

Raveendran

Hi,

In one of my office PC, outlook folders are showing in
different languages. Instead of "Inbox" it is showing some
other language. Same in the case of "sent items" also.
Rest all folders like calander, drafts all are showing as
it is. I checked with control panel/regional settings.
It's English only. ANd I tried to start outlook with the
outlook/resetfolders command also. Can you please have a
look into this.

I don't know the solution, but have an idea whats causing it. I have the
same problem since I upgraded the local (Dutch) office 2000 to the
US-english Office 2003. For me that's not much of a problem, but I'd be
interested to know how to solve this. I guess a complete reïnstall
would work, but you have to get rid of the user related items too of course.

Use /resetfoldernames instead. This will set the language of the folders to
the language of Outlook you have installed.
