Outlook (full version) rejects attachments

I use the full version of Outlook XP (not Express).

It just rejected a greeting ecard sent to me by a friend because the
card had an .exe extension, without even asking my permission first.
I'm sure the card was legitimate. That's not the first time this has
happened.

How do I turn off this "feature"?

Thanks in advance!

The registry hack wasn't hard, and it worked. I got to open my ecard.

However, I really don't think home users should have to go to this
kind of hassle for something so basic, especially when little 'ol
Outlook Express will let them turn this off. That needs to change.

Thanks again.

Exactly. One of the most harebrained ideas/implementations that came
out of MS and that's saying a lot.
