Outlook hangs when spell checking email with stationery

We are running Outlook 2000 (part of Small Business
Edition) on my husband's computer. When he replies to a
message that contains stationery and attempts to spell
check the message Outlook hangs and we must
Ctrl+Alt+Delete and end Outlook.

Any ideas what is causing this to happen? It only
happens when there is stationery present not without.
