Outlook Hangs When You Reply to an Email Message 811946

I configured Word 2003 as default e-mail editor and it hangs when I reply to
an e-mail. Above KB article advsies installing Office XP SP3 to correct it.
When I download, message states already installed. Any workaround or advice

You cannot use Word 2003 with Outlook XP. You must have Outlook 2003 to use
Word 2003.

I was loose with my terminology. I DO have Office Professional Edition 2003
which includes Word 2003. Any ideas?
