Outlook - home network

I have a Dell machine running MS Windows XP and an old
Compaq running Win 98. I have them connected on a small
lan using a NetGear router connected to my cable modem. I
only use mail(Outlook Express) on the Compaq. I want to
use Outlook on both machines and have all incoming and
outgoing mail sharing the relevant Outlook files. How do I
accomplish this ?

Are you using Outlook or Outlook Express? Your mail is confusing. If you
are using Outlook Express, please post this question in an Outlook Express
forum - this forum is for Outlook from Microsoft Office.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Sorry for the confusion. Message should have indicated I
wanted to upgrade to Outlook (NOT EXPRESS)on my Compaq. MS
Outlook is currently on my XP machine.

Methods can be found here: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/share.htm . One
simple way is to put your PST on a network share (unsupported, but it
usually works). Just be aware that two Outlooks can't have the same PST
open simultaneously.
