Outlook is slow

Hello: I recently installed more RAM (now 750 MB+-) to my PC (P4 1.70 OS XP)
hoping to accelerate email downloads in my MO accounts (2). Now every time I
open MO it takes a lot of time to download my emails. Sometimes it gets 15
minutes to finish downloading them. I have tried to work offline to see what
happens, but when I resume to work online to see my emails it takes again to
much time. I would appreciate any help on how I can solve this. Regards,

Fernando

Hi. I connect through a modem and my Internet provider is AT&T, and also use
their InternetRunner to accelerate my connection. I have just tested it
using their page and says my connection speed is now 566 kbps. Thanks in
advance Milly.

When you review the mail that was downloaded, how much information was
received? (mb please).

Adding ram? Have run into this before on another group but not OL. Slots 1
and 3 have to be the same Ram as slot 2 and 4. DDR and sdram do not mix on
this combination of slots. Check it. Can cause this issue and has caused
this download issue but not in OL to my knowledge yet.

Thank you, Peter. I will check this, but I think it is not the problem
because other applications run OK. Regards,
Fernando.
