Outlook Journal notes/Entourage notes

Two related questions. Is it possible to transfer Journal notes from
Outlook 2003 over to the current Entourage via Server (or any other
way)? I have just moved over to Mac from Windows and had worked totally
in Outlook.(800 contacts over 4 years) Many of my contacts had both
emails and Journal notes covering phone calls. I have transferred
successfully via the Server all addresses and Emails and linked them
up.

Is there a simple way in Entourage to make Notes work in a similar way
to Journal notes in Outlook? When in Outlook Journal notes are
automatically linked to the contact that you are dealing with. Likewise
Outlook lists ALL communications with an individual contact both emails
and any Journal notes. Entourage appears to only list emails. Notes
appear to require a seperate search. At a glance I need to be able to
see ALL communications not just half a client's history.

Any ideas? MS claim that it is not possible to transfer notes between
the 2 platforms.

Not _Journal_ notes. But if you can somehow save the journal notes in
Outlook as regular Notes there, you can export them as CSV and import them
into Entourage Notes using my Export-Import Entourage scripts from

There's no equivalent to Journal in Entourage.
