Outlook link opens two browsers

Using OL 2003, when I click on a web link within a mail message I get two
browsers that open with the same page. I used to get 1 browser and a window
asking for the executable file to open in, I specified IE and now, 2
browsers!! Does anyone know how to get it back to one? This does not
happen when I click a link in OL Express, or Firefox.
