Outlook Migration

I just bought a new computer and I want to move my address book and email files over

The old computer was running Outlook 2000 SR-1 on Windows ME, while the new computer is running Outlook 2003 on Windows XP

Are there files I can copy over, or do I need to export all of the folders with emails? Also, the old address book has the import/export buttons greyed out, so I'm not sure if there is some sort of problem

All Outlook data resides in the same file, a Personal Folders file (PST
file). Just save your old PST and configure the new installation to reuse
it--that is much safer and retains more settings than importing the PST.

The only reason to import the PST is if for some reason you might need to
exceed the 2 GB limit on PST's. Outlook 2003 has a new format that will
allow PST's up to 20 GB. Even then, I wouldn't import it. Just open your old
PST and copy the data into your new one.
