Outlook outgoing mail

All of a sudden my Outlook mail will not send mail... ie
I recieve mail from my Yahoo email account (as I have
done for several years) but when I go to return mail
through Outlook it just stays in the Outbox..? A
send/reciever error report pops up quoting the number
0x800CCC0F saying that it's connection to the server was
interupted.

I have checked my configuration and settings and they
seem fine - has anyone else come across this problem
and/or can advise of a solution?
