Outlook ..relaying denied

50% of outgoing email (to friends/clients/family) does not go through...I get msg from SystemAdministrator saying "relaying denied". I use Roadrunner. When I send msgs from the web-based Roadrunner, all msgs go through just fine, so the problem must be with Outlook. (Incoming&outgoing servers are set up correctly per Roadrunner.) If I re-send it 2-4 times, it eventually does go through, but what a hassle.
I use: WindowsXP,IE6x,OutlookXP,RoadrunnerISP,HP-pavillionlaptop

Relaying denied is usually a response from the server.
That indicates that the server through which you are
trying to send your email is not configured to allow
relaying of email from your IP address. In some cases it
may also indicate that authentication is required, but the
error return should state so.

Check with RoadRunner to make sure you have your Outlook
configured properly.

I am having the same problem and I am not quite sure I understand the solution.

"Relaying Denied" means that, for instance, if you're connected through an
AT&T connection and try to get or send mail from a RoadRunner server,
RoadRunner will deny you access to their servers because you're not using
their connection.

So is there a way to get around this problem? My email account is a pop3 like
my yahoo, yet I can send email through that but not my other email account.
