Outlook Rules Problem

My Outlook rules stopped working and I cannot seem to fix
them. They will not delete and I can't add new rules
that Do work.

I get an error that says "Operation failed. An object
was not found." I can create a rule and run it until I
try to close the Rules Wizard. Then I get this error
message. If I close Outlook and start it again the only
rules listed are those old ones that won't work any
longer.

How can I fix this?
