Outlook Rules should give an option to automatically strip attachments from
emails before forwarding them to a specific email address. This can prevent
emails from being bounced by email accounts that cannot accept large
attachments. For example, using Rules, I have configured Outlook to
automatically forward all of my emails to my text pager when I am out of the
office. However, any email that has an attachment gets bounced because the
pager company has strict size limitations on messages. The attachment is not
a useful piece of information in this scenario, and it prevents me from
getting the accompanying message since the entire email gets bounced.
Therefore, if the attachment could be stripped before the email is forwarded,
I would receive the message and would be greatly appreciative.
