Outlook screwing up email addresses?

Hi I used the import/export wizard command in outlook to
create a file of my contacts in csv format. When I
reloaded the contacts into Outlook on my laptop (Outlook
2000, Windows 2000 Pro)all the email address were screwed
up. ie. [email protected] is now [email protected]
[email protected] . All my emails had this SMTP
inserted followed by the email address again. Why did this
happen? How can I fix this? Pls help! Thanks
