Outlook sending error

Has anybody had this error when sending mail from a pop
account in Outlook 2003?:
Task '<account name> - Sending' reported error
(0x80040109) : 'The operation cannot be performed because
the message has been changed.
The message appears in the send/recieve dialog window.
Any help is appreciated.
