Outlook sends me the same messages repeatedly

Whenever I open Outlook, it sends me the same 150 or so
messages again and again. Everytime I click Send/Receive
I receive them as well. I've followed all the setup
instructions to get my email through Outlook, but I don't
know why I keep getting the same mail over and over. I
get email through Comcast and I'm using Outlook 2003.

Also, some of the messages I get can't be opened, saying
that it can't be downloaded from the server. This happens
to the same messages everytime they get sent.

Any ideas would help. Thank you.

Hi,

I think that the UIDL Caching is broken. Have u tried to configure the
account in a New Profile and then see what happens there ?

This might even be a problem on the Server side.

To create a new Outlook Profile --> control Panel --> Mail applet -->
Show profiles --> Add

I've had similar problems in the past and it turned out to be a problem
message on the server side. Log in to your Comcast account and delete all
your messages. Obviously, if there's an important message you want to keep,
you may want to set up a temp account and forward the message(s) you want to
keep.
