Hi,
I have 2 separate issues regarding shared contacts in Outlook 2003 with
Exchange 2003,
Situation:
I have a user that has 5 other peoples shared calandars and contacts in
their outlook views, used for updating them etc
1) occasionally, seemingly for no reason at all (ie the user not doing
anything) one of the shared contact folders stop being that of the other
user's and becomes a mirror of her own, restarting Outlook does not solve the
problem however restarting the computer does. the user has been given full
mailbox access (in AD) to the shared users as they are sales reps and are
rarely in the office. as far as i know it is always the same shared contact
folder that has this problem.
any ideas would be appreciated
2) lesser issue when searching through some of the shared contacts folders
it returns results instantanious but with others it seems to hang and only
when pressing stop it reveals some of the search... i have put this down to
the nuber of contacts in the folders but it does take an exceedingly long
time to search through 1400 contacts and no time at all to do half that. is
that normal?
