Outlook should allow me to change file blocking setting

Outlook should allow user to change which files to be blocked. I have
received many files from family, friends, and co-workers that I know to be
safe and I am not able to download them even though I know they are safe!
Asking the sender to change the file type is very time consuming and
frustrating for both myself and sender.
