outlook should look for new mail in seconds or all the time

Al

For people who need to get their mail in and out quickly. There should be an
option to check for new mail every (x) second(s). instead of every (x)
minute(s). other every 1 min is too slow for us. any suggestions?

Since email is not an instant communication media, whats in a few mins.
In any case setting the polling interval for less than 10mins can cause
problems.

You can damage your .srs file and Outlook will hurl. Setting too short an
interval does not give Outlook the time to check multiple accounts, conduct
all required handshakes, process rules, etc.

Not less than 10 mins.
As I said before email is NOT an instant communication media. If you want
that use phone/fax/messaging
The mail servers overseeing body consider an email to have been successfully
sent/received if it is received within 72 hours.
