Outlook shuts down

Outlook (office 2000 premium) shuts down within 10 sec of
being opened. I have scanned the hard drive for viruses,
none found. I have re-installed the program with no
luck. The O/S is XPpro. Originally installed in January
2004 and had no problems until today. Could use some help!
