I have often wanted to send brief, hidden messages to individuals in the BCC
field to let them know WHY I wanted to include them in the distribution.
Sometimes people don't realize that they were not the "intended target" and
will respond to the email. I'd like to avoid that as well, by labelling the
email differently when you are CC or BCC instead of the original target or if
it's a broad distribution email. I'd also like the option to prevent replies
by people in BCC, or to prevent my *own* replies if I try to reply all to a
BCC, thereby revealing my participation in the thread.

I handle this scenario by not using Bcc but by forwarding the message to the
other person who wasn't in the distribution. That way, any reply goes only to
me, and I can include that explanatory note.
