Outlook to Entourage

I would like to transfer my Outlook Express 5.0.2 user files from an
iMac G3 (OS 9.2) to Entourage 10.1.6 on a iMac G5 (OS 10.4). Because
the G3 is not running OS 10 I was not able to automatically transfer
the information via firewire, therefore I am burning everything to CD.
When I drop my OE User folder in the Main Identity folder inside
Microsoft User Data folder, inside documents, it is not seen. Any
suggestions? Thank you for your assistance.

Because Outlook Express uses a different database format than Entourage, you
have to import the information from your old database into a new Entourage
identity.

In Entourage, go to File > Import. Choose to "Import information from a
program", and then choose "Outlook Express 5". Choose to import everything.
In the following screen, click "Browse", and select the folder in which you
placed your Outlook Express identity folder from the other computer. Then,
select your Outlook Express identity from the list, and all of your data
should import.
