Outlook uses 81,000 k mem -- is this typical?

seems like a lot more than it ever used before and my computer seems awfully
slow at times while this is happening

I have a Dell Pentium 4 3 gig RAM= 1 gig

My outlook is just a personal file, one user

it'll use as much as is available and release it when other apps need it -
minimizing it tends to release most of it.

How much CPU show it is using - i have a very slow outlook (and computer
when Outlook is running) and there is another thread on this board that i
started.
Subject on mine thread was 'MS Outlook using 100% CPU'
