Outlook XP and Redirect Function

Norbert Lieckfeldt

I am using OL 2002 on a small peer-to-peer network. Most of my colleagues
are not very computer literate, and are using other email clients (Pegasus
and Becky).

Quite often I receive emails I need to forward to them for a reply. If I
use the 'forward' function, they hit the 'reply' button which means the
email comes back to me i.e. I have to forward the email to the end
recipient, the original poster. Other mail clients like Pegasus, Eudora etc
have a 'recirect' feature which sends the original message on without
changing the sender's details. OL doesn't seem to have anything like it.
The only thing I could find was an addon by, I believe, Mapilab, but that
only works if both parties use OL.

At the moment I use a clumsy workaround, i.e. drag the message into the
Sent Items folder and then choose Action - Resend. I would be willing to
pay for an add-on which would allow me to resend these mails with a simple
toolbar button!

Any information gratefully received.
