When using Outlook XP, in an Exchange 5.5 environment, it
appears that anytime I recieve an email with an
attachment, the attachment "precaches" itself in a temp
folder. While on the network, its generally not a
problem, but when I connect from a remote connection, and
there is a large attachment (over 1mb), its takes a real
long time for Outlook to be responsive.
Is there a way to turn off this "attachment precaching"
so that outlook will not download the attachment until I
double click on it?
Thanks.
