Outlook XP no longer searches the Nickname field from the To: box

Hi: In the To: or CC: fields in Outlook 2000, I used to be able to type a contact's Nickname and Outlook would populate the default email address. This was a great time saver. Outlook XP won't do this. Is there any way to turn this back on?Thanks in advance.

Autocomplete should work, but it will only use a cache of previously entered
addresses. Prior versions of Outlook didn't have autocomplete - they had
something called "autoresolve"....
