Outlook2000 calendar appointment colors

Andrew Howell

In the Outlook2000 calendar, is it possible to color-code the appointment
items? The default view of "Day/week/month" where the calendar appears as a
table containing appointment items, all I've got is gray appointments on a
gray or white background.

Ideally I'd like to color-code based on the appointment's category - e.g,
default=gray, "Work"=blue, "Holidays"=green, etc.

I'm VB fluent, so I'd even be willing to write a "Save As" macro that could
set the desired color?

Thanks,
Andrew.

No. That kind of color-coding was introduced in Outlook 2002. It doesn't
exist in Outlook 2000.

Only in a list view. Outlook 2002 and later support colors in the
day/week/month views.

Many thanks for the replies, guess it's time to upgrade anyway. As a
single-user, is it worth all the collaborative overhead to upgrade to
Office2003 or just 2002?

Outlook takes a long time downloading message and then times out with err 0x800CCC0F with McAfee, or err 0x8004210A without McAfee
If I delete the "BAD" message using webmail all returns to normal
This is a recurring problem, typicaly on SPAM messages
There is a character sequence ( or lack of one ) that Outlook trips on
Logs of the session are detailed below

I print monthly calendars regularly from Outlook. With the old version, it would print the pages in plain B&W. Now (2003) it will only print with color applied to the appointments to which I've applied labels. I have looked all through the menus and dialogs and cannot see how to change it to just printing text. What's the secret
