Overscoring Characters

If you mean an entire paragraph, use Format>Borders & Shading to apply a Top
Border, but there is no such formatting attribute as 'overscoring' individual
characters. You can use the Line Tool to draw a line where you want it, but I
doubt that will give you the result you are looking for.

Can you be a bit more specific about what you are trying to do? Maybe use
special characters, such as Ā?

Hmm, The Opposite of Overscore would be UNDERSCORE. So lets call it STRIKE
THROUGH to cross out the text you may or may not want in your document but
don't want to actually delete it.
That sort of thing (if I am on the right track with you) is under the Format
Menu/Font and your options are at the bottom of that page. Maybe a different
company calls it overscore.
