Page Numbering with Paper Size Changes

I have a document that flips back and forth between legal and letter
size paper. The document is to be duplexed such that each section
starts on the front of a page and the pages are numbered according
to their position in the section ( {Page} of {SectionPages} )

Whenever there is a section break to force a paper size change I
seem to have to specify that the following section starts on an even
page in order for the duplex printing to work correctly and have
that section start on the front of the page. I am assuming this is
because Word forces an implicit break whenever the paper size
changes. However, when I have this even page break, the page
numbering for the section is messed up in that it thinks the first
page number for the section is even (i.e. pg 2).

This is a dynamically created document so hard-coding page numbering
is not really an option.

Any ideas??

I'm not sure I understand what's going on here. Ordinarily the odd page is
the "front" of a page (recto) and the even side is the back (verso). Even if
your printer prints in reverse order, I would guess that this would be
Word's understanding of the situation. If not, perhaps choosing "Reverse
print order" would be more helpful. In any case, Word will insist on the
first page after an even page break having an even number (and the same for
odd page breaks and numbers).
