Page numbering

Could someone help me, please? I am in a bind.

I am using Word XP. I am typing a book and I have
numbered the pages but when I print them only half the
page number is printed. What could I be doing wrong? I
am using the default settings on the page setup. Would
appreciate your response. Thanks.

Hi Irene

By "half the number" do you mean that, when printed, you only see the
top of the number, but the bottom of the number is cropped off?

And if you mean that it's truncated horizontally instead of vertically, I've
seen this happen when the frame of a page number inserted via Insert | Page
Numbers was too small, though it's hard to see how this can happen since the
frame is formatted for Auto height and width.
