{PAGE} prints instead of Page Numbers

Hello,

I've never seen anything like this. A co-worker has a multi-page Word 2003
document and when he prints the document instead of seeing actual page
numbers in the footer, the field is displayed {Page} on all the pages. I
cannot figure out how to display the actual page numbers.

Can anyone help?

Tools | Options | Print: Clear the check box for "Field codes."
