page prints vertical and horizontal opposite-can't fix-HELP!!!!

When I print my document, the page is turned around. I want it 11" HIGH
(verticle) and 8.5" WIDE (horizantal). It comes out opposite. I fixed it in
page setup, and it appears on the screen correctly, but it prints wrong.
HELP!!!!
