Page Setup and Size differences in 2000/2003

Hello all,

Our company is migrating from Office 2000 to Office 2003
and the page sizes in dfault templates is different in
each version of PowerPoint. What I mean is if I open an
Office 2000 .pot file in 2000 the Page size is: A4
(210x297mm) with Page width 26 and height 18. If I close
this document and open in 2003 the settings are: A4
(210x297mm) but height of 27.51 and width of 19.05. This
then throughs the default grid out etc.

If I set the document to be 26 x 18 in 2003 it then opens
as a smaller size in 2000 ie 24.51 etc.

Why are 2003 and 2000 "disagreeing" over page sizes and
how can I stop it?

Any feedback appreciated.

Thanks

It has to do with a correction to how PowerPoint used to incorrectly
translate inches to centimeters. You're suffering from the results of a bug
*fix*. See the following:
