PageDown doesn't work after hyperlink

I have hyperlinked two PPTs together. When you click the link to go to the
secondary presentation, and then return to the original one, you lose the
ability to page through the presentation using the Page Down button (that
worked prior to executing the hyperlink). Any ideas?

It happens due to the PPT windows loses focus when you return from the
2nd presentation.
Click the 1st ppt once and it will work again. I hope.

And if you don't have a mouse, try to use "TAB" or "Alt+TAB " make the
focus back to the 1st PPT.

I'm using the 2003 Viewer. I'm curious about your comment about returning
from the secondary to the primary PPT. How should I be returning? Can the
user just press ESC or must there be a link (I assume directing the
application to the end so that the second app closes properly)?

Thanks. We'll try it.

There are a couple ways of doing it; letting the user ESC is one, or (more
intuitive for the user) adding an End Show action button is another that has the
same effect.

I wouldn't link back to the original ... that might end up launching another copy
or at the very least returning it to the first slide rather than whatever slide
the user was viewing before.

One thing that might help is to put the presentations in KIOSK mode.
That will disable the normal navigation keys (page up/down, space bar etc) so
you'll need to add navigation buttons so the user can move from slide to slide.

A bit more work, but it gives you a lot more control over the user's progress
through the show. AND it forces them to click on the show to go anywhere; that
should restore focus to the A show after they've quit the B show and returned
from the link.
