Palm conduit for Entourage AND iCal ?!?!

I just blew $40 on Missing Sync, as the developer's website gave me the
impression that I would be able to simultaneously sync Entourage and
iCal data. My assumption was that the application had a way to allow
the two respective conduits to function in harmony.

I keep thousands of contacts in Entourage but all my event info in
iCal. I'm desperate for a way to get it all on to my Treo in a single
sync, without having to first migrate data from app to the other via a
Berkowitz sync script.

Does anyone know of a conduit that can handle both Entourage and iApps
at once? Alternately, has anyone tried running the Entourage conduit
and iSync 2.0 conduit simultaneously in Missing Sync, by taking care to
set them so that they aren't both targeting the same data point on the
handheld? (By which I mean not trying to sync both Entourage and Apple
Address Books to the handheld at once, which would obviously be a
problem... I'm talking strictly about different types of data).

Thanks in advance!

Hmmm. Below is what a guy from Mark/Space wrote me today when I asked
about syncing Outlook, Entourage, and my Pam. He appended the whole
Palm document, but I'm just cutting his email off after the link. I
wasn't happy when I tried e2sync a couple of months ago, but maybe I'll
try it again. And I guess I'll try Paul B's scripts too.

Hello,

The surprises you encounter when syncing with multiple machines are not
going to go away with Missing Sync. The issue is caused by there being
three points where data can be entered and deleted. As such it is hard
for the sync process to know for certain what is going on. The folks at
PalmOne wrote a document about this situation and I've included it at
the end of my email for your review. The principles are the same for
multiple PCs, multiple Macs, or multiple computers with a mix of PC and
Mac.

Like with HotSync Manager, if you have a conduit conflict, Entourage
and iSync conduits both installed, you will get undesired results like
unplanned deletions and duplicates. So you can sync to iSync (for iCal
and Address Book) OR Entourage, but you cannot sync to them both in the
same sync or you will be unhappy with what you get. However, there is
another company that develops a tool that will sync Entourage and iSync
together. You could then sync your Palm to ONE of the two, and then use
their tool to sync those two databases to each other. To get
information about that tool go to: http://www.e2sync.com/

Hello, and thanks for your input. After further correspondence with
Mark/Space support, I learned that it is possible to force Missing Sync
to ignore conflicts between conduits, though they will be sure to tell
you that all bets are off when it comes to support in that realm. I
have subsequently been able to set up both iSync 2.0 and Entourage to
sync simultaneously with my Palm. The one trick is that have you have
to add the iSync conduit first, followed by Entourage, as the former
will automatically disable the latter conduit (regardless of your
Missing Sync set-up). I am now able to successfully sync my Palm
Calendar with Mac iCal, and Palm Phonebook with Entourage Addressbook
in a single sync session.
