I just got a Palm for Christmas and can't figure out how to get it to sync
to my Entourage info. anything out there for versions early OS X?
Tell me I don't have to start over in a new program just for Palm, arggggg!
The Handheld Synchronization Conduit for Entourage 2001 came in the Value
Pack on the Office 2001 CD. However, due to issues with the Palm Desktop
HotSync software with which it works, you can't sync while in Classic in OS
X. If your computer is old enough to be able to boot into OS 9, you'd have
to do so and sync from there. Not very satisfactory for everyday use.
Otherwise, you need to bite the bullet and upgrade to Office v. X (or wait
for the next version after that, perhaps). Then you can get the Handheld
Synchronization Conduit for Entourage X from the MacTopia website.
