Palm m505 synchronisation with Entourage X

The synchronisation is working but I am unable to successfully
synchronise the CATEGORIES assigned to contacts in Entourage.
Old / disused categories on the Palm cannot be removed by
synchronisation.

Any suggestion where to tell Entourage or the Palm what to do with
Categories?
