Palm PDA & other options

Hi,

I have to find a PDA for someone using Entourage 2004. The user
currently has a Palm Tungsten T3, which does not inter operate with
Entourage properly.

The reason he purchased this PDA is because the screen was easy to
read, with large letters.

Can anyone advise on an alternative which will synchronise properly.
Any other related info welcome.

Thanks,
Tom

The Palm apps for synching are not necessarely what's the best out
there. I have much much better luck using "The Missing Sync" for Palm
OS.
You might want to consider using their software as well.

Does this mean that Microsoft has no intention of releasing an update
to the Entourage conduit for the Tungsten T3 or other Palm 4.0 hardware
& software? Or is Palm responsible for the Entourage conduit?

Thanks

The MacBU makes a conduit for Palm synchronisation adn Palm makes the
app that performs the sync.
I've had nothing but problems with the Palm sync and their app is more
than limited. That's why Markspace made The Missing Sync to replace the
poor Palm app.

I don't blame the MS conduit in this specific case, but the Palm Desktop
application. (by the way: did you select the option to use "newer" palm
devices in the conduit settings??). The Palm app is buggy and awfully
limited.

TMS offers far more options. You can use the Entourage conduit (and
everything is fine for me in this case). You can also use SyncServices
all the way in Tiger: Entourage syncs to the same database that the
Address Book and iCal and TMS reads all the data from this unified
database. That's what I use and I'm rather happy with it.
